FlashCodersNY gather every week in Manhattan (IBM Public Space, 57th & Madison) to discuss ActionScript development and topics related to that. FlashCodersNy is inspired and modeled after the Design Patterns Study Group of New York (DPSG). To study the GoF patterns, they have been meeting once every week for the past eight years. The DPSG in turn is inspired by the study groups at Oxford University and ST John’s College.
