How to setup new iPad with iCloud

Why not setup iCloud in your new iPad to get full advantage from Apple products. You can enjoy seamless integration into all Apple devices, no matter you have physical access to those or not. First you need to know what you can do with the iCloud. It stores your contacts, calendar, photos, mails, bookmarks and apps. It also wirelessly transfers these to other devices.  Using iDevices will become really convenient if you setup iCloud. It helps you share instantly without any cable or other medium.

When you setup your new iPad, after following required step, you will be asked whether you want to setup an iCloud. When you agree to the terms and conditions, you will get a chance to enable iCloud services as well.

1. Getting started with iCloud

You will see these two tabs on iPad screen, “Use iCloud” and “Don’t Use iCloud”. Tap on the upper button. Before setting up, optionally you can also open the lower link “What is iCloud?” it will let you know exact features of this app.

2. To change settings

If you wish to change iCloud settings or have skipped the setup process, go to Home Screen of your iPad and tap “Settings” icon. Now select “iCloud” and there you have it.

3. To customize

Of course you need to customize iCloud your way to make it more user-friendly and practicable for your daily requirements. Tap “settings” icon at Home Screen and open iCloud. You will see these iCloud services in the list: Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Bookmarks, Notes, Photo Stream, Documents and Data and many others. To enable or disable, tap on/off buttons against each name.

4. iCloud backup

If you want to use iCloud backup, tap this button “Back Up to iCloud” on your iPad screen. It will daily backup your important files via Wi-Fi network.

5. Automatic downloading

With iCloud, you can also enable automatic downloads and these can be accessed later on with all apple devices that are compatible with iOS 5. You don’t have to download apps individually on your Mac, iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.  At the bottom of iCloud screen, information about available and used space is shown. You can get downloads accordingly.

6.How to manage

To manage iCloud services on your iPad, tap “Manage” button at the bottom of screen after iCloud home page is opened, which displays list of all services.

Requirements:

To setup iCloud, make sure you have iOS 5, the latest operating system for all Apple devices. You can easily use iCloud in all iPads such as original iPad, iPad 2 and of course the new iPad 3.

Fast Integration

Once you download anything to your iPad, it will automatically share in your iPhone and iPod touch through iCloud. This is a smart way to enjoy iCloud services on all iDevices. You don’t have to customize apps in all apple devices individually. You can even find your missing iPad through iCloud.
