How to upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7
In few steps we will discuss how we can upgrade our Windows Vista to Windows 7 on our PC with the help of Windows 7 CD and a valid product key. We can only upgrade Vista (Home Premium) with Windows 7 (Home Premium) or Vista (Business) to Windows (Professional) similarly Vista (Ultimate) with Windows 7 (Ultimate). Otherwise if we use other edition of Windows 7 as compare to current Vista edition then we have to use the clean(new) installation.
Now perform the following steps to upgrade your Windows:
1.Insert the Windows 7 CD in the CD / DVD Rom, click the “runsetup.exe” file and press Continue Button.
2.The following screen will show the message that if you are not sure then you can check online to view the compatibility of your system with Windows 7. Here we consider that you are sure then click on install now.
3.Nest screen will ask you about upgrade or custom installation then click on upgrade option.
4.Next it will Copy Files & install Windows, which will take some time as per the below screen.
5. After that installation system will restart.
6. Windows will restart after finalizing the setting.
7. Now your Windows 7 is ready to use.
